AN ALLOA man assaulted his ex-partner in her car by punching her and biting her on the ear.
Kurt Allan, 34, of Wallace Street, appeared in the dock at Alloa Sheriff Court last Thursday, April 6.
He admitted that on October 27, last year, at Argyll Place, Alloa, he assaulted his former partner, entered her vehicle uninvited, seized her by the hair, repeatedly punched her on the head and bit her on the ear, to her injury.
Sheriff Neil Bowie told Allan: "This is a serious offence and there is a level of denial coming through in the social work report."
Allan, who was representing himself after his solicitor withdrew from acting for him, said: "I'm totally ashamed of what happened."
Sheriff Bowie deferred sentence until May 11 for Allan to obtain further legal advice and for a Caledonian Project assessment.
