A TULLIBODY man has been jailed following a domestic disturbance which left his partner "petrified", a court has heard.
Jack Martin smashed a window with a brick as he demanded to get in a property and appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court last Thursday, April 13.
The 33-year-old, of Newbiggin Crescent, admitted that on November 29, at his home, he acted in an aggressive manner, repeatedly banged on the front and back door, demanded entry, shouted and swore at his partner, struck a window with a brick, damaging it.
Sheriff Neil Bowie said: "Your partner was petrified in the house...A neighbour was so concerned they intervened.
"This concluded with you trying to break in and smashing a window."
The sheriff jailed Martin for 160 days.
