A GOOD cause supporting elderly residents in Clacks and beyond is set to host an online volunteer drive next week.
Food Train Connects – which aims to support older people in eating, ageing and living well independently in their own homes – will be hosting The Big Help Out online volunteer fayre on Monday, May 8.
People will have the chance to find out how the organisation works and what roles are available during three drop-in sessions throughout the day.
Sessions will start at 12noon, 3pm and 6pm with those interested given the opportunity to hear about the roles of shopping friend, meal makers cook, phone friend, befriender, online shopper, shopping companion, telephone supporter, leafleter and fundraiser.
