ARTWORK produced by autistic individuals is set to go on display in Alloa next week.

Art Opportunities, Alloa-based charity Scottish Autism's day vocational service, will be hosting its Spring Exhibition on Tuesday, May 16.

People are being invited to the exhibition under 7-8 Millar Court at Alloa Business Centre between 6pm and 8pm on the night.

Those heading along will have the chance to see some fantastic artwork produced by individuals supported by the service and to purchase some as well.

Kimberley Milligan, autism practitioner, said: “The Art Opportunities exhibition is always a really exciting time for the individuals who attend our service.

“It's a chance for their artwork to be shown to a wider audience, and for them to see people being engaged by the work they have created.

"We are looking forward to welcoming people to the Spring Exhibition, where they can feel free to purchase any of the fantastic pieces which will be on display."

Art Opportunities offers a creative environment where autistic individuals can express themselves, exploring ideas and influences while discovering talents and skills in a range of crafts.

Works are created in a broad range of mediums, including stained and fused glass, textiles, painting and modelling.
