TWO road users, including a rider who reached 105mph on the A91, were stopped by police as part of a targeted operation.
Officers in the Forth Valley carried out a targeted operation day within Clackmannanshire on Friday, June 2.
Road policing officers set themselves up on the A91 to test the speed of passing drivers that morning.
A 26-year-old male motorcyclist was stopped after recording a speech of 105mph towards Alva, despite the 40mph speed limit.
The rider was stopped and has been charged with dangerous driving and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
Later that day, a 38-year-old male driver was stopped on the A91, Alva due to mobile phone usage.
His vehicle was subjected to a roadside check, revealing several lighting offences and two tyre offences.
The vehicle was classed to be in a dangerous condition and was seized for no insurance.
The driver has been reported for these offences and may face losing their licence due to the totting-up procedure.
