ALLOA ATHLETIC has renewed its long standing kit deal with Pendle Sportswear into the upcoming 2023/24 season.

This extension ensures the Wasps will remain record holders for the longest continuous kit-making deal in Scottish football.

Pendle have been behind Alloa’s iconic black and orange kits since 1998, standing eleven years longer than second place Falkirk.

Steven Hall, managing director of Pendle, said: “We are absolutely delighted to yet again be supplying Alloa Athletic with kits for the 2023/24 season.

“Our long-standing relationship with the club will enter a record 26th year and that is a testament to the hard work the team do, ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality kits with a market-leading service.

“I am very proud that this deal means we still have the longest-running manufacturing deal in the whole of Scottish football and hope we can continue to supply Alloa for many seasons to come.”

Fans can expect the upcoming kit to drop sometime this summer, before Alloa get their season underway with their League Cup campaign.

A spokesperson for Alloa Athletic added: “The club are very pleased to be renewing our deal with Pendle Sportswear for the upcoming campaign.

“The quality and service from Pendle over the last 25 seasons has been of the highest standard and we look forward to maintaining this partnership with Pendle in the future.”

Pendle has manufactured all sorts of different styles of jerseys over the years, including the fan favourite kit worn during the 2014/15 Challenge Cup final, worn just once to mark the occasion.
