A TULLIBODY man, who committed offences against his mum, brother and former partner, has been jailed.

Marc Mower, of Main Street, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court by video-link from prison last Thursday to be sentenced for a series of offences.

He admitted that on April 6, at Carseview, Tullibody, he acted aggressively, shouted, swore, made threats of violence and repeatedly banged on a door.

Then on April 24, at Baynes the bakers, High Street, Alloa, he made an offensive remark placing his former partner in a state of fear and alarm.

He also breached his bail conditions on June 2 by attending again at his family's home at Carseview, outside of the times specified by the court.

The 22-year-old then shouted, swore, refused to leave when asked to do so and acted aggressively towards his mother and brother.

Depute fiscal Sarah Smith said the incident at his mother's house came a day after she had evicted him from there because of alcohol and drugs misuse.

He turned up at 11.15pm banging on the doors and demanding to get in.

He was shouting: "I'll do you all in."

When a female neighbour intervened, Mower shouted: "Come on then. Square go."

When arrested later, he said: "I wanted to see my dad but they wouldn't let me in."

The Alloa incident occurred when Mower went into the shop where his ex-partner works.

She ignored him and a colleague served Mower. When asked if he wanted a bag, he turned in the direction of his former partner and said: "I'll put a f****** bag over your head."

He then turned up again at the family home at 5.20pm under the influence and was told to go away.

When his brother came out of the house, Mower became more aggressive, jumping over a fence and throwing items about the garden.

He later told the police he had been fighting with his brother.

Defence solicitor Kelly Howe said her client had wanted to see his dad, who was very sick at the time and has since passed away.

However, he accepted his behaviour had been "inexcusable".

Sheriff Neil Bowie told Mower his record showed "a plethora of offending."

He jailed Mower for 160 days.

He deferred sentence on the offence involving his former partner until August 24.
