A 34-year-old man struggled with police after causing a disturbance at his aunt’s home in Sauchie.
John Donald, of no fixed abode, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court by video link from prison.
He admitted that on June 28 at an address in Sauchie, he acted in an aggressive manner, shouted, swore, threatened his aunt with violence and threatened two police officers with violence. He also resisted two police officers and violently struggled with them.
The court was told the aunt had called the police after Donald turned up at her house intoxicated and making threats.
When officers arrested Donald and put him in their vehicle he shouted, “I f****** hate you” towards his aunt. He then started struggling with the officers.
Defence solicitor Corrine Wilson conceded her client had a “a long list of convictions” and was “embarrassed” about this latest offence.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland also commented on Donald’s record saying he was “no stranger to prison”. He imposed a community payback order with one year of supervision.
