A 29-year-old man kicked out at a paramedic called out to help him in Kincardine.
The culprit was Steven McCulloch, of Forres Drive, Glenrothes, who has appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on July 5 last year at High Street, Kincardine, he assaulted a paramedic who was responding to a 999 call by kicking him.
The paramedic was responding to a call in relation to McCulloch’s well-being.
Depute fiscal Catherine Stevenson said a bus driver was unable to wake up a passenger, McCulloch, who appeared to be drunk.
An ambulance was called but as paramedics tried to help McCulloch he kicked one of them. Police then removed McCulloch from the bus and arrested him.
Sheriff Craig McSherry fined McCulloch £420.
