An Alloa teenager used a pensioner’s bank card and helped himself to £270 of her money.
Kevin Conway had previously done work for the 77-year-old woman.
Conway, 19, of Engelen Drive, appeared for sentencing at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on repeated occasions between February 3 and 6 at Bank of Scotland ATMs at Mar Street, and Tesco, Auld Brig Road, Alloa, he stole £270 using the bank card of a 77-year-old woman.
Sheriff William Gilchrist imposed a community payback order with 12 months of supervision. He also ordered Conway to pay £270 compensation to the victim.
Conway has only recently been released from detention having been given custodial sentences at Falkirk and then Alloa.
