AN ANNUAL football match held in memory of a late teenager will be held this Saturday (September 16).

Steven Robertson passed away from lymphoma two years ago when he was just 19, with friends of his organising a yearly charity match in his name.

The match will follow the same format as previous years, with friends and family donning Celtic and Rangers top to face off against each other to raise money for Lymphona Cancer Research.

Anyone interested in heading along can look forward to a great match alongside a raft of entertainment including face painting, beat the goalie, carnival games and music provided by Kirsty Docherty from 6pm.

The day begins at 9am and will run until 1pm. The match will be held at the Tullibody Civic Centre and is free for people to come along to.
