A SAUCHIE man has avoided another prison term at his latest court appearance.

Jordan Spiers, 25, of Schaw Court, was back in the dock at Alloa Sheriff Court, having previously served a prison term.

He admitted on July 9, last year at Primrose Street, Alloa, he was in possession of cocaine.

He was also unlawfully in possession of an offensive weapon, a slingshot.

Then at Falkirk police station he failed to provide specimens of breath.

Sheriff Neil Bowie imposed a community payback order with 200 hours of unpaid work, two years of supervision and a six-month restriction of liberty order.

Spiers was also banned from driving for four years and until he passes the extended test.

In February, Spiers was jailed for six months for driving when disqualified and refusing to take a breath test.
