A NEW premises has been opened by the council’s Clackmannanshire Works to team to help them provide more support for young people.

The new shop, on Primrose Street, Alloa, has been established to expand the service’s offering and provide more visibility towards potential clients.

The service was set up in 2008 to deliver person-centred support for local residents aged between 16 and 67 who are seeking work or training.

Clackmannanshire Works provides support to those leaving school and looking for work experience or apprenticeships, unemployed adults who need support finding work and parents who need to increase their income.

The new Primrose Street premises is open now and can be accessed by anyone fitting the criteria and looking to get into or re-enter the world of employment.
