The College has places available in courses across all three teaching departments: Care, Sport, Business and Communities; Creative, Digital and Leisure Industries; and STEM and Construction.

You could be a school leaver eager to push on and start your career or someone who is returning to education keen to embark on a new path. If you are, then Forth Valley College wants to hear from you.

If you want to study science or engineering at the Falkirk Campus, you’ll be pleased to know that Forth Valley College is one of Scotland’s leading STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) providers and strategically linked to the Grangemouth strip, with numerous strong industry links.

The STEM and Construction Department has also created state-of-the-art training facilities which allows FVC to offer innovative integrated degree programmes in this field linked to the University of Strathclyde, Heriot-Watt University and the University of Stirling and the College also provides training to more than 1000 Modern Apprentices (MAs) every year, in everything from engineering to construction.

Alloa and Hillfoots Advertiser:

It is worth noting that prospective students can also apply to the much sought after Modern Apprenticeships in Engineering and Life Science.

Care, Sport, Business and Communities courses can also be found at the Falkirk Campus – opened in 2020 – which is arguably one of the best learning facilities to be found anywhere in Scotland, and only a short distance from Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Computing courses are another area of expertise at the Alloa and Falkirk Campuses and the skills students learn in this area will put them at the forefront of the challenges of cyber security in the UK for years to come.

At the Stirling Campus, perhaps you could serve up a new career for yourself by applying for a course in Hospitality as The Gallery Training Restaurant - which is open to the public – educates the next generation of chefs and front of house staff.

Creative, Digital and Leisure Industries are also a big focus at Stirling and BA Degrees in Art and Design and Digital Media, in partnership with the University of Stirling, are developing respected reputations across the country.

Business courses are a speciality at the Alloa Campus which features simulated office spaces. FVC is confident it has exactly what you are looking for as you look to start your career path from scratch or enhance your existing skills.

The College also works closely with a wide range of partners to ensure we are delivering opportunities which meet the needs of learners, employers, local industry and national skill agendas.
