A Tullibody drug driver has been banned for a year and fined more than £1000.
Ryan McCluskie, 32, of Banchory Place, appeared for sentencing at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on November 12 last year at Stirling Road, Tullibody, he drove a car when over the limit for cannabis consumption.
His reading was seven microgrammes of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) per litre of blood, the limit being two microgrammes.
He was also in possession of cannabis.
Depute fiscal Sean Iles said at 5.30pm police stopped McCluskie’s car and officers could immediately smell cannabis from the vehicle.
Sheriff Neil Bowie banned McCluskie from driving for a year and fined him £1040.
