A WEE COUNTY decorating company has been voted the best in the country at a national awards show for the second year running.

Pristine Décor Ltd, based across Clackmannanshire, won the Scottish Home Improvement Awards best painting and decorating company of the year.

On top of that, they then went to the Scottish Business Awards grand final and was voted the best home improvement company in Scotland.

Pristine Décor founder Callum Bonner spoke with the Advertiser and said he was delighted to see their work recognised at an awards show.

“It feels good,” Callum said. “It’s a credit to the work that we’re putting in and it’s good to get a bit of recognition for the work that the boys and I do.

“At times, we’re putting in countless hours and have jobs up to our eyeballs and we’re always busy, so when you get an award it makes it all worth it.

“It’s a massive achievement as a company to even be put forward for something like this, never mind actually winning it.

"A special mention goes out to everyone who has helped us along the way and of course our customers who make it all possible"

Callum founded Pristine Décor in 2020 and spending roughly 10 years as a painter and decorator with Clackmannanshire Council.

Throughout lockdown, he started planning for his own business and launched it at the tail end of the pandemic and has been growing since.

Since founding, they have been voted the best painting and decorating company in the whole of Scotland for two years in a row now.

Callum added: “There’s always the chance to go for three in a row, if we keep working the way we’re working, there’s no reason not to try again.”
