AN ALLOA man is behind bars after damaging his "tag" when he was drunk.

Anthony Kerr, of Drysdale Street, appeared back in the dock at Alloa Sheriff Court and admitted breaching the court order.

Defence solicitor Georgia Marshall said her client had been drinking heavily before the equipment was damaged.

Sheriff Neil Bowie revoked the order and called for reports before sentencing on December 21.

Kerr was remanded in custody.

The 28-year-old had been put on the 'tag' in August after assaulting his former partner.

He admitted that on June 6 at Hillside Terrace, Alloa, he attended at her home uninvited, shouted, swore, acted aggressively, seized his former partner by the head, causing her to fall to the ground, placed his hands around her neck and compressed it, to her injury.

Kerr had gone to the woman's home in the early hours of the morning.

She saw him at her window and he then went inside, lunging at her.

He grabbed her by the face causing her to fall to the ground.

Kerr then grabbed her by the throat before the woman broke free and ran from the house.
