Two women have organised a Santa Fun Run which will take place tomorrow (Sunday) to raise money for charity.

Louise Dewar (39) and Emily Mitchell (35) have places to run in this year’s London Marathon and are arranging a Santa Fun Run in Alloa.

Louise said: “I'm running the London Marathon next year to celebrate my 40th birthday and in memory of gran who passed away with lung cancer in 2013. This why I wanted to run for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.

“Emily applied to support me with training and to help with fundraising, and Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation kindly offered us both a place.”

Louise added: “John O'Malley Property and O'Malley financial services have kindly offered to sponsor the race, we are incredibly grateful for John's generous donation to fund the event. UGym, the gym Emily and I both do our strength training, have also offered to donate money towards the event and are coming to do a fun warm up before the race begins.

“We are super grateful for their support.

Emily and Louise would like to thank the Dollar community also for supporting them on their journey.
