A 59-year-old Tillicoultry woman was more than four times over the limit when she was involved in a collision.

Karen Blair failed to stop and police later found her at her home.

Blair, of Heathwood Crescent, appeared for sentencing at Alloa Sheriff Court.

She admitted that on January 21 last year at the Co-op car park, High Street, Tillicoultry, and other roads in the area she drove a car with excess alcohol.

Her reading was 92 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 milligrammes of breath, the limit being 22 microgrammes.

She also admitted that at the Co-op car park she failed to stop after being involved in a collision.

The court heard it was Blair’s second drink driving conviction.

Sheriff Neil Bowie banned Blair from driving for four years and until she passes the extended test.

He also imposed a community payback order with 140 hours of unpaid work and one year of supervision.
