A Sauchie man injured two men by hitting them on the head with a crowbar.
A series of ‘tit for tat’ attacks took place after a drinking session.
As a result, Thomas Richmond, 36, of Lochbrae, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on August 2 at Craigview, Sauchie, he assaulted two men by repeatedly striking them on the head with a crowbar to their injury.
Defence solicitor Robert Smith said his client had been assaulted by the two men earlier.
He had gone back to the house because he had left his mobile phone there but took a crowbar with him.
After attacking the pair, Richmond was again later targeted by the men who went to his home “to exact revenge”.
Mr Smith added: “There was clearly a drinking culture and they were all drinking to excess. He’s extremely remorseful.”
Sheriff Neil Bowie imposed a structured deferred sentence until April At that stage it will be seen if Richmond is able to do unpaid work as an alternative to custody.
