A CLACKS volunteering group will be hosting a spring craft fayre and afternoon tea to raise money for Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS).

The Friends of CHAS Clackmannanshire, a volunteer fundraising group, holds regular events to get money together for the flagship charity.

Now, the organisers are putting together the craft fayre, set to take place on Saturday, March 23 in Muckhart’s Coronation Hall.

The group, led by Diane Walker, has already held a fayre in the past, which was reported by the Advertiser, before they started selling Christmas wreaths over the festive period.

Marion Riddell, of Friends of CHAS Clackmannanshire, said: “The fair has something for everyone with a variety of stalls including arts and crafts, delicious home baking, gifts and accessories.

“There will also b a raffle and tombola with some lovely prizes. Refreshments and cakes are included in the entry fee which is £3 for adults and £1.50 for children.

“Friends of CHAS Clackmannanshire are really looking forward to its next big event and by coming along, you will be helping CHAS support families across the counry.”

Raffle tickets will cost £1 a strip and anyone interested in buying any can contact Diane on 07703 348909.
