A FORTH VALLEY charity project has raised almost £2000 at a joint fundraiser with Rangers Football Club.

Town Break, which aims to support people living with dementia across Clackmannanshire, Stirling and Falkirk, held a charity bucket collection outside Ibrox Stadium on Saturday, March 2.

The bucket was organised in partnership with the club and the Rangers Charity Foundation, collecting donations from fans ahead of their game against Motherwell.

In just two hours ahead of the game, Town Break reported that they raised £1,900 from passing fans, expressing immense gratitude to both supporters and the club for helping this happen.

The Rangers fundraiser has now been their most successful fundraiser in their history, allowing them to further their work supporting people with dementia in Forth Valley.

A spokesperson for Town Break said: “Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the exceptional volunteers whose dedication and generosity made the day possible.

“Their support has enabled us to continue our mission of providing vital social assistance to individuals and families affected by dementia across Forth Valley.

“The funds raised during this event will play a crucial role in advancing our initiatives aimed at inspiring and enabling individuals to live well with dementia.

“A special thanks to Rangers FC and the Rangers Charity Foundation for their partnership and support.

“By selecting Town Break as the official charity for the day, Rangers FC has significantly contributed to raising awareness and funds for Town Break’s dementia-related initiatives.”

Town Break also would like to reaffirm that they have no specific affiliation with any football team.
