An Alloa woman has moved her lash and brows business to its own premises in the town.
Isla-Jade Tully (19), who owns Islatxbeauty, has moved her business into its own shop in Mill Street.
“I first went self-employed in March last year, so it’s been a year, but I started my HND in 2021.” Isla commented.
She studied for her HND in Glasgow before returning to her hometown of Alloa. She got the keys to her new premises on March 1 and began decorating and getting ready to see clients.

Isla-Jade added: “I love it. It’s nice for clients as well because they don’t need to worry about other people being there. I think it’s much better personally.”
In terms of her hopes for the future, Isla-Jade said: “I really like the idea of obviously working in my own shop for a while, then maybe looking at my own brand of lash.”
She also likes the possibility of maybe beginning a training academy in the future.
Islatxbeauty is now located on 15 Mill Street and bookings can be made via direct messages on the business’ Facebook page.
