A FLOOD alert has been issued in Clackmannanshire with heavy rain forecast in the area for Friday.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) has issued the alert for the central region, including the Wee County and nearby areas.
Heavy rain is forecast overnight and the Met Office has also issued a yellow warning for rain from 2am to 9am on Friday.
The flood alert is in place for Friday into early Saturday morning with a risk of flooding from surface water and rivers.
There is a potential for localised flooding to land and roads as well as disruption to bus and rail travel as well as property flooding.
Residents are being advised to remain vigilant and take action which help protect themselves and their property.
