A NEW Costcutter store should open its doors on Tranent High Street next week.
The store, which is moving into the former Farmfoods premises, is expected to employ half a dozen members of staff.
A spokesperson for the business told the Courier there had been a delay with stock and they now expected to open on “Tuesday or Wednesday”.

The store will be independently owned and the owner has a dozen other stores in Edinburgh and Midlothian.
Work has been ongoing inside the store ahead of its opening.
Farmfoods closed on October 29 last year but the national chain refused to give any details as to why the store was shutting its doors.
