A successful quiz night in Alva raised £420 for church funds last week.
Alva Parish Church held the event which saw a dozen teams take part. The winning team was the Chocoraisins and Rick Cassidy was quizmaster once again.

Supporters had been donating raffle prizes for several weeks and the organisers arranged the draw so that at least one prize went to each team.
The event raised £420 in total.
