A BOGUS builder conned a Tillicoultry couple out of £3,500 after claiming he would install solar panels at their home.
The culprit was 35-year-old Euan Buchan, of Clifton Road, Aberdeen, who has appeared in the dock at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between August 1 and 30, 2022, at Jamieson Gardens, Tillicoultry, he pretended to a couple that he would supply and install solar panels to their house and obtained £3,500 by fraud, knowing he would neither supply nor fit them.
