AN ALLOA noisy neighbour has been jailed after failing to turn up for his unpaid work.
Kevin Barr, 34, of Whins Road, appeared back at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He previously admitted that on June 6, at Whins Road and in a police vehicle, he shouted, swore, acted aggressively and failed to desist when told to do so.
The court was told police had received a complaint about the noise coming from Barr's home and went there at 10.45pm.
There was no answer and so officers forced their way in finding Barr inside.
After being handcuffed, Barr was shouting: "I'll fight everyone in Alloa", and: "I'll kill you. That's not a threat, it's a promise."
Defence solicitor Kelly Howe said her client has "significant mental health issues and also abuses illicit substances".
She added that: "Life is a constant struggle for him and he's had the revolving door of prison".
Barr had been given a map showing him where to go for the unpaid work but "lost the map".
Sheriff Neil Bowie revoked the unpaid work order and jailed Barr for three months.
