AN ALLOA man assaulted his partner by striking her on the head and body with a sugar cannister.
James Brown, 46, of Tullibody Road, appeared at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on July 6 in 2022, at Shillinghill, Alloa, he was in possession of cocaine.
He also admitted that on July 4 this year, at Ashley Terrace, Alloa, he assaulted his partner by throwing sugar over her then striking her on the head and body with the cannister.
Sheriff Garry Sutherland imposed a community payback order with a year’s supervision and an 80-day restriction of liberty order.
