AN ALLOA man stopped his bike outside a local pub and began arguing with a customer before punching him.
The culprit was 20-year-old Kevin Conway, of Engelen Drive, who has appeared for sentencing at Alloa Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on February 15 at the Bobbing John pub, Drysdale Street, he assaulted a man by punching him on the head.
Depute fiscal Sarah Smith said at 10.25pm three males were standing outside the Bobbin John pub having a conversation.
Conway came cycling along the street and stopped next to the men, becoming involved in an argument with one of them.
Another male come out of the pub on seeing the argument and tried to de-escalate the situation.

However, Conway then punched the man he was arguing with, before cycling off.
The incident was captured on CCTV.
Defence solicitor Michael Lowrie said: “It was an angry set-to and the complainer had taken off his jacket.”
Sheriff Garry Sutherland fined Conway £420.
