A POPULAR Clacks hotel and restaurant has passed its food hygiene visit, having taken immediate action after a failed inspection.
Dunmar House Hotel and Restaurant in Alloa has received a pass as part of the Food Hygiene Information Scheme (FHIS).
As previously reported, the hotel was one of four restaurants and cafés in the Wee County which required improvement, according to information from Food Standards Scotland and the UK-wide Food Standards Agency.
That inspection took place more than a year ago and owner Mark Westland explained remedial action was quickly taken to address some minor issues, but re-inspections and paperwork can take some time.
Speaking to the Advertiser, he said: “The work was done within about two weeks of the inspection, it just took that long for them to come back out.
