A new community development role is being advertised to help shape the future of rural engagement in Clackmannanshire.

Charity Resonate Together is seeking a Rural Community Activation Coordinator to support its work across the county, including its rural areas.

The role will be based at the Carsebridge Cultural Campus in Alloa, following the community purchase of the campus earlier this year.

Angela Watt, CEO and founder of Resonate Together, said: "We are looking for someone who really understands community — someone who enjoys bringing people together, builds relationships naturally and has the confidence to take ideas forward and make things happen.

"But we also want to reach people who might not immediately think this opportunity is for them.

"There may be someone locally with years of experience in community development, engagement, volunteering or working with people who is ready for a new chapter themselves."

The freelance role is offered on a fixed-term basis, with a contract value of up to £20,000.

It is supported by the Forth Valley & Lomond Community Led Local Development Programme.

Applications close at noon on Monday, August 24.

Interviews will take place on Friday, August 28.
