Enrolment for evening classes at Forth Valley College are going live soon and an Evening Course Information Event at the Falkirk Campus on Thursday 22 June, could unlock your potential for work and play.

If ever there was a time to learn new skills that could lead to full-time courses, better your job prospects, enhance your existing career or even find a new one, the time is now. FVC’s new range of evening courses guarantee to offer something for everyone, including subject areas such as Art & Design, Beauty, Business, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) and much more.

Evening courses for 2023/24 will be available to view on the College website from Thursday 15 June 2023, at FVC’s Falkirk and Stirling campuses, enabling applicants to transform their career path, CV, skillset and creative and cultural hobbies.

Forth Valley College Principal, Kenny MacInnes, said: “Our evening class programme delivers a good balance of both academic and leisure based courses. The programme will appeal to a range of learners regardless of their age, circumstances or reasons for applying.

“Evening classes can help you to progress your career, transform your life or find a lifelong passion. They can also offer the opportunity to meet new people and expand your social or professional networks. We can help you make the most of these opportunities, ‘making learning work’ for you.”

Alloa and Hillfoots Advertiser:

Those interested in higher level study will be attracted to the range of Higher National Certificates (HNCs), Highers, and the vast range of leisure classes that are also expected to generate a lot of interest and have the potential to develop useful skills which will enhance everyday life.

FVC will also be hosting an information event specifically for our evening courses on Thursday 22 June 2023 at our Falkirk campus, 4.30pm-7.30pm. This will provide an opportunity for those interested to come see the facilities in person and speak to various curriculum managers about the courses on offer. Interviews will be held and if successful, enrolment will take place on the night.

Funding is also available to help some students with their tuition, with the part-time fee grant available for those earning under £25,000 and undertaking an eligible HN level course. You should apply via the part-time funding section of the SAAS website at www.saas.gov.uk. Furthermore, there is also opportunity to pay-in-instalments to help spread out the cost for the student, provided the course fee is greater than £100.

FVC is looking forward to welcoming potential students to its Evening Course Information Event to find out more.
