Formal identification is yet to take place and a post mortem will be carried out in due course
A BODY has been found in the search for missing man Gordon Wilson.
Police made the discovery at Allan Water in Dunblane earlier this morning.
Although formal identification is yet to take place, Mr Wilson's family has been informed.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police Scotland can confirm that the body of a man was found in the Allan Water near Millrow, Dunblane around 10.45am on Thursday, April 9.
“The family of missing man Gordon Wilson, missing since the end of March, have been made aware of the discovery.
“Formal identification is yet to take place and a post mortem will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death. The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
