TWO cars collided on Kincardine Bridge over the weekend.

The incident took place just after 6pm on Sunday, June 7, and police and ambulance crews were in attendance to assist those involved.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a collision involving two cars on the Kincardine Bridge on Sunday.

"The Scottish Ambulance Service were called, however injuries aren't believed to be life threatening."

Traffic Scotland tweeted that all lanes on the bridge were restricted following the crash.

However, those restrictions were lifted within a few hours.
