A WOMAN was grabbed by a man who jumped out from a bush and exposed himself to her in Forth Valley last week.

The incident took place in Falkirk on Saturday, October 17, at around 5.30pm, as the 40-year-old lady was walking on a footpath near David's Loan by the Celtic gym.

Police said the woman was not injured, but was left "extremely upset" by what happened.

Officers are now looking for the culprit, who was described as white, slim build, aged in his late 30s or early 40s with short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jacket, a black tracksuit and white trainers.

Inspector Bill Donohoe said: "Fortunately the woman was not injured but she has been left extremely upset by what happened.

"I am appealing to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and seen anything to get in touch, particularly if they saw this man before or after the incident."

Anyone with information should call police using 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, quoting incident number 2983 of October 17.
