THE winner of Visitor Attraction of the Year has been announced at the Stirling Business Awards.
Stirling Distillery, at the foot of Stirling Castle, has been given the award after fending off competition from the castle and the Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum.
Winning first place should come as no surprise to the distillery, who have received a Tripadvisor Travellers Choice award for their gin and whisky experiences for several years.
The brew makers boasts over 600 5-star reviews on Tripadvisor, a 3 star VisitScotland rating and is a popular destination for coach tours.
Thousands visit the distillery each year to try their award-winning gins and to participate in their weekly gin school.
More than 16,000 votes were cast for companies nominated across ten categories at the Stirling Business Awards.
