SHAMBOLICS have continued their Lockdown Cover Series with a rousing rendition of Teardrops by Womack and Womack.

The 1988 R&B foot-tapper is the latest to be given the treatment with the Fife four-piece continued their weekly releases.

The series was launched with a re-imagination of Fleetwood Mac's timeless classic Everywhere, followed by The Weeknd's Blinding Lights.

They continued with ABBA’s Mamma Mia, before taking a run at The Rolling Stones' Sympathy for the Devil last week.

Each track arrives with an innovative video showing all four members of the band coming together from their separate bases of isolation to perform in harmony.

Darren Forbes, one of the group's singers and guitarists, said: "I run a music studio called Eggman Studios and because of lockdown I brought a few things home so I could build a mini home studio so we could record some things and still push content on our socials.

"We basically just played all the parts from our home and filmed ourselves doing so and then mixed it and released it. It seems to be going down well.”

Since joining Alan McGee’s Creation 23 label last year, Shambolics have released original tracks in Chasing A Disaster and Sandra Speed.

While further new releases from Shambolics are currently on hold in the current crisis, the band will be promising plenty more surprises on their Facebook as they develop the series over the coming weeks.
