THE SNUTS are preparing to take 2021 by storm after announcing their debut album and massive tour this week.

The West Lothian quartet will unleash W.L. on March 19, with dates across the UK and Ireland lined-up throughout the spring.

Starting in Liverpool on Apr 30, they then aim to hit the road throughout May with shows in Manchester, Leeds, Norwich, Sheffield, London, Brighton, Hull, Belfast, Dublin and more.

They will also support The Music for their massive comeback show at Temple Newsham, also in Leeds, in late May.

They have also set up shows at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh on May 14 and a much-anticipated gig at the Barrowlands in Glasgow on June 11.

The latter will be a huge milestone for the band who had always dreamed of showcasing their first album at the venue.

Singer Jack Cochrane said: "We promised ourselves that playing the world-famous Barrowlands and releasing our debut record would be eternally intertwined.

"This occasion is a celebration of that fact for us as a band and the fans who have supported us unconditionally.”

The frontman added: “Our debut album W.L. is our lifetime work. It’s a collection of milestones and melodies that time stamp a dream we had becoming a reality.

"It’s a record about being true, loving and resilient."

The Snuts - W.L. will be released on March 19.

Tickets for the Glasgow Barrowland show are available from 10am on Friday 11th December 2020 at www.gigsinscotland.com
