GLASGOW indie-pop artist Konner is gearing up for the release of his latest hard-hitting track I Can't Get Away.
The singer has seen his tracks featured on BBC Introducing Scotland and Amazing Radio while also receiving support from Spotify Editorial playlist We Are Glasgow.
The lo-fi indie track was recorded with Edinburgh based producer Mark Morrow and follows on from the release of Your Place and Clean last year.
Konner said: “I Can’t Get Away is a song about not being able to escape the worst of yourself and being stuck in a vicious cycle.
"It was almost a letter to myself explaining the cycle of self-doubt and self-deprecation I was stuck in, where every person around me seemed to be a reflection back at my own insecurities, but also acknowledging how important it was to face these feelings and keep going.
"It’s a lonely song, but one filled with a bit of a hope that things will get better.”
I Can't Get Away will be released on all major streaming platforms on January 21.
Following the release of the track, Konner is due to take part in Focus On The Venues - an online festival in aid of Save Our Venues alongside Only Sun, Dancing On Tables and The Covasettes on January 29.
