Arcade State landed a top-five placing in the iTunes alternative charts with the release of their single Follow.
The Clydebank band released the track today (Friday, January 15) and it climbed as high as fourth place, above Taylor Swift and Kings of Leon.
Follow comes just a month after their previous released in Rabbit Hole, with an EP set for release later this year.
A statement from the band read: "Follow is a song that makes a statement straight away with the thunderous drum fill to start off into a huge ambient guitar and rich synths which start the song off in a burst of music.
"The gritty vocal comes into tell the song's story and then into a huge and catchy chorus and ends with a lovely orchestral outro.
"We don’t have an actual release date for the EP as of yet as our original plans have been halted due to the pandemic, but we hope to have it out in the first quarter of the year."
