DUNFERMLINE singer-songwriter Don Morrison is gearing up for a busy 2021 starting with a hard-release of his debut track.
The single, Partner in Crime, has been well received since its unveiling at Christmastime.
Morrison draws on influences such as The Coral, The La's, Oasis, Paulo Nutini, Amy Macdonald, Peter Doherty and Lana Del Rey, as he tells the tale of a couple against the world.
The tune has garnered some radio play over the last few weeks, with physical copies becoming available on CD and vinyl from February 20, complete with a new unreleased B-side - Long Lost Lover.
Morrison said: "Partner in Crime is, essentially, a love song about an unlikely couple running away from their troubles together.
"The song features some dark lyrics with an uplifting chorus and outro. The music is acoustic-based with other instrumentation layered on top."
The single was recorded at Eggman Studios, with the artwork created by Fife-based artist House of Cher.
