A HANDFUL of Scottish musicians are taking part in a week-long livestream festival, beginning at the start of February.

Music development platform Sucker is once again hosting a series of digital performance, with the Sucker Lockdown Week.

Previous efforts in the previous lockdown were well supported with BBC 6Music and Clash Magazine getting behind the idea.

The latest event will see performances every day from Monday, February 1, Sunday, February 7, on their Facebook page, with dozens of bands swapping the stage for their living rooms.

Among them, are a number of up and coming Scottish artists, including the White Novels, Indoor Foxes, Vansleep, Katie Sandy, Eilidh Robertson and Konner.

Luke Joynes, organiser and founder of Sucker, said: "Scotland really is delivering some incredible up and coming musical talents at the moment, so it's really great we have a strong bunch of them showcasing their music during Sucker Lockdown Week.

"We'd all love to be at a gig right now, but until then we're going to keep the live music scene alive, and give fans a much-needed pick-me-up. Tune in!"
