AMY PAPIRANSKY is preparing to unveil new music for the first time this year.
The singer, originally from the northeast of Scotland but now based in Glasgow, will release Summertime Blues on Friday, March 5.
Not one to shy away from important matters, the song opens a dialogue about the collateral impact of mental health issues.
Papiransky said: "The track is about a friend who finds herself in a bit of a tricky relationship and tells the story of her confusion due to her partner's rollercoaster mental health."
Summertime Blues follows up on the heart-warming Dear Amy single from December last year.
Papiransky also has a full-length album to her name, Read Me Write, released in 2021 – but there is still plenty more to come from the artist.
She added: "I have new music coming out in 2021 and a few exciting announcements to share when I am allowed to do so."
