AFTER the success of her previous release Peach Stone, Edinburgh’s Indoor Foxes returns with new track Mr Yellow Eyes

Much like her previous releases, it is another self-produced track once again teaming up with Scottish producer Scott Maxwell.

This time, the duo take on on a more mature sense of songwriting, while staying true to signature Indoor Foxes grungey lofi bedroom guitar sound and tongue in cheek lyrics at the centre.

The singer, also known as Martha Barr, said: "I wrote this song as a letter to my dad about my partner and how much I want to show him how happy we are but how sad it can be.

"I’m looking back to my family for advice on how to make this relationship work when they feel so far from you.

"I wanted to talk about how it feels to watch something so beautiful start to feel so heavy and to acknowledge that I don’t know what I’m doing or how to make it work – and that’s OK."

Mr Yellow Eyes is set for release on all streaming platforms on Friday, February 26.
