A NEW single from Angelic Mode will be released next month, with pre-sales starting from next Friday.

Don’t Make Me Wait will be released on April 30, with the song making the semi-final of the International Songwriting Competition.

It follows up from the debut single, Your Love Is All The Rage, unveiled last year.

Angelica Mode is the project of songwriter Brian Hughes, formed in early 2020.

Having spent the last few months working on an EP with LA-based Sound X3 Records, Hughes has been making waves in the meantime having received a prestigious Ivor Novello Mentorship and been named as one of Spotlight Music’s Top 45 Upstarts of 2021.

Of the upcoming single, Hughes said: "Don’t Make Me Wait is a song I wrote last year as I was getting Angelica Mode started.

"I wanted to take the production to new places, as I’d never done anything with quite so many electronic music influences before.

"I decided to release the song after it reached the semi-final for the International Songwriting Competition. It has been a great surprise and a real validation."

Don’t Make Me Wait is released on April 30, with pre-sales starting from March 26.
