IT HAS been almost two years since the last release from The Martial Arts, but the wait for new material is almost over.
Next month, the first single from the project's newest record will drop - bringing an end to the hiatus.
The track, Bethany, will be released on April 9 with the EP - Getting Stranger by the Month - set to be unveiled on April 23.
The Martial Arts is the brainchild of Glasgow's Paul Kelly (of BMX Bandits, Carla J Easton and The Primary 5).
A debut album, Your Sinclair, was released by The Martial Arts in 2006, followed by a lengthy break.
The project then released an EP - I Used To Be The Martial Arts - in 2019 through Last Night From Glasgow, before assembling a live five-piece with members of TeenCanteen, Trembling Bells and Nevada Base.
The Martial Arts have returned once more in 2021 with another batch of 70s and glam infused pop for the modern age.
