Dear Editor My wife has just returned home from Tullibody new cemetery where she witnessed three dog owners deliberately releasing their dogs to run around the graves within the cemetery, one fouling on top of a grave.
When you talk to dog owners you are invariably verbally abused. A lone woman in a high risk area confronting three burly men has no chance.
Please could the council consider erecting signs at all council main gates for all dog owners to keep their dogs on a leash within the cemetery grounds. This is out of respect for those buried in the cemeteries and their families.
