RENOWNED as one of the fastest Formula Ford and Celtic Speed Mini racers in Scotland at Scottish Motor Racing Club events for years, Kenneth Thirlwall has made the unusual move from 4 wheels to 2.
Kenneth, 26 from Haddington, has been a regular at Knockhill for many seasons, winning multiple races and championships, but on April 23rd / 24th at the Knockhill Motor Sports Club meeting, he is making the switch to his new race machine, a Kawasaki Lightweight Super Twin.
2016 is a learning year, he has already high-sided himself at East Fortune, but he hopes to be near the sharp end of the grid by the end of the year.
The weekend of April 23rd & 24th is the first bike meeting of the year at Knockhill and will feature all the regular classes of the Scottish Superbikes, Clubmans, 125s, 600s and will have guest races of the MT125 to compliment a busy race weekend
For more information about the weekend, please contact Stuart Gray or Tracey Donald at Knockhill on 01383 723337. Adult tickets are £8 on Saturday and £13 on Sunday, with weekend tickets at £15.
