JUNIOR golfers at Muckhart were hailed for their hard work this season at last month's annual prize-giving event
The ceremony was well attended with guests including Clackmannanshire Sports Council and the club’s main sponsor Stephen’s the Baker.
Luke Volland, was the big winner on the night, having who won seven of the 13 trophies including the Centenary Trophy and the Kumasi trophy, and finished as runner-up in a further three.
Other winners included Ben McLachlan, Alex Turlik and Lewis Seath, who won three trophies.
David Addison, club secretary at Muckhart GC, said: “Congratulations to all our prize winners this year. It has been another busy season for the Junior members at Muckhart Golf Club and we are very proud of the achievements from all our junior members.
“With the recent success of former Junior member Calum Hill on the Challenge Tour and with Jamie Roberts and Andrew Thornton gaining scholarships to play golf in America, our junior section has excellent role models to look up to.
“A big thank you to our junior conveners, volunteers, and importantly our PGA coaches Caimen Condren, Heather MacRae and Allan Martin who helped improve and inspire our juniors."
